Horticulture internships are available not only to local school and universities such as Oregon State University, Portland Community College and Washington State University but to those well outside the Pacific Northwest.
Interns interested in horticulture will work with in tandem with Van Veen Heritage Garden and Van Veen Nursery. The interns will learn practical skills in
maintaining a collection of rhododendrons while serving as apprentices at the
Nursery.
